Tino Livramento unsure on Newcastle move

The Evening Standard claims Tino Livramento is not interested in a move to Newcastle United as things stand, nor does a return to Chelsea look to be on the cards.

The report claims the Magpies have seen several bids rising up to £21m rejected by the Saints, with the Blues also keeping an eye on their former youngster.

The former Chelsea academy graduate wants assurances over first-team minutes before any move away from the South Coast this summer, having established himself as one of the first names on the Southampton teamsheet.

Livramento knows he would have to compete with Kieran Trippier for the right-back slot at St. James’ Park, while Chelsea are said to be open to a loan move back to the Saints next season – if they activate a buy back clause understood to be in the region of £38m, a fee much higher than his current market value.

Football Insider claim Newcastle United would need to submit an offer in the region of £60million to lure Marc Guehi away from Crystal Palace this summer.

The Magpies are reportedly interested in the England international after securing a Champions League finish to the 2022-23 campaign.

Eddie Howe’s side have also reportedly enquired about the services of Guehi’s team-mate Joachim Andersen, according to other reports. Guehi has clocked up 82 appearances for the Eagles since joining from Chelsea for a reported £20million.
