The Parramatta Eels have confirmed their squad to face the Cronulla Sharks at CommBank Stadium on Thursday.

Both Clint Gutherson and Mitchell Moses have been named to return for the Eels.

Gutherson (knee) has been unavailable for the Eels’ past three matches, and Moses (foot) has not featured since Round 3.

The Eels Co-Captain returns to the no. 1 jersey, while Moses resumes halfback duties. Their inclusion sees Dylan Brown revert to five-eighth, and Blaize Talagi move to the bench.

For the first time in 2024, Brendan Hands will wear the no. 9 jersey.

With J’maine Hopgood unavailable as he prepares for his Queensland Origin debut, Joe Ofahengaue is set to start at lock. Wiremu Greig takes a spot on the bench.

Will Penisini has been named in the centres after missing last week’s match with an infection. Ryan Matterson, who has missed the past two games through illness, is among the reserves.
