Tottenham Hotspur are now reportedly ready to sell Manchester United target Harry Kane.
The Times has reported that Manchester United are interested in signing Harry Kane from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Spurs are ready to sell Kane this summer unless he signs a new contract.
The 29-year-old striker, who was described as “very underrated” by former Liverpool player Jose Enrique in June 2022, is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of next season.
Tottenham have offered Kane a new deal worth £400,000 per week.
According to The Times, Kane stills wants to leave Spurs.
Manchester United have “expressed interest in signing Kane”, but the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners “believe they would have to pay” the England international striker “more than £500,000 a week”.
“United would struggle to comply with Financial Fair Play rules if they spent half a million pounds a week on one player, and doing so would risk destabilising the dressing room,” adds the report.
The Times has added that Bayern Munich are determined to sign Kane and will make a third bid this week.
Harry Kane has a big decision to make regarding Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United
Bayern Munich are one of the world’s biggest and most historic clubs, and the chance to play for the Bundesliga champions could be too good to turn down for Harry Kane.
However, the striker should also consider a potential move to Manchester United, if indeed he does decide to leave Spurs this summer.
United are arguably the biggest club in England, and under manager Erik ten Hag, they will be aiming to win the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League in the coming years.
Moreover, playing for the Red Devils would allow Kane to become the all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League.
The striker has scored 213 goals in 320 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
