Mateo Joseph gaining admirers
A report in Spanish outlet Marca claims that Leeds United forward Mateo Joseph is attracting interest from a host of clubs both domestically and across Europe.
The likes of Swansea City, Sampdoria and Wolfsburg are all named, with further sides from the Championship, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga are also said to be interested in a loan move for the upcoming season.
Joseph was a key player in Leeds United U21s promotion-winning campaign in a season which saw him make six first-team appearances and earn a place in the England squad for the U20s World Cup this summer.
With injury doubts over Patrick Bamford and Georginio Rutter going into Leeds’ opening match against Cardiff City this weekend, the 19-year-old may find himself close to Daniel Farke’s first-team to start the season.
Tyler Adams latest
The Mail claim that Aston Villa are ‘waiting on an answer’ from Tyler Adams over the Leeds United midfielder’s future.
Reports of a £25million release clause in the USMNT international’s contract have circulated recently, with Chelsea joining the likes of Nottingham Forest, Brighton and West Ham linked, but this report claims that Villa are also monitoring the situation.
Adams is currently working his way back to fitness after a hamstring issue ended his season early last year and curtailed any pre-season involvement.
The former RB Leipzig man made 26 appearances for Leeds before his injury in March and also captained his country in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
