Liverpool have already agreed personal terms with Andre Trindade, according to one journalist.
The 22-year-old Fluminense midfielder is seen as a top target for Liverpool, who appear to be on the lookout a fourth midfield signing (following the arrivals of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo) before the close of the transfer window.
Anfield Watch has reported that Fluminense are open to a sale for a club-record €25m (£21.5m), but – crucially – are not keen to allow their number seven to depart before the end of their ongoing Copa Libertadores campaign, likely delaying any transfer until January.

The one-cap Brazilian is one of South America’s hottest prospects and has been linked with Fulham and Sporting CP, as well as Liverpool.
According to journalist Emmanuel Luiz, Manchester United were also interested in Andre, but the player has his heart set on Anfield, having already agreed personal terms with the Reds.
Luiz told RedmenTV: “Manchester United went to Andre’s camp to talk to them about a possible negotiation. What they said [was] the player has personal terms agreed with Liverpool, personal already agreed. That’s done.
“The player said to Fluminense, the situation today – I called some guys close to Andre – and they said to me, Andre said to Fluminense ‘I want to go to Liverpool, I want to go, I have personal terms agreed’. That’s fine but what Fluminense said [was] we are not going to say right now because of the Copa Libertadores that we already know.
“So Andre said ‘I’m going to talk to them [Liverpool].”

Regardless of whether personal terms have been agreed, the key point in the transfer will be convincing Fluminense to sell this summer, rather than hold on to their player for the rest of the year.
Anfield Watch understands it would take a premium to convince the club to do business now, such is their reluctance to disrupt their chances at a first ever Copa Libertadores.
Fluminense play their first leg of the quarter finals against Olimpia on 25 August, with the return leg in Paraguay a week later.
Reports from Brazil claim the Rio-based club has already turned down a €30m (£25.5m) proposal from Liverpool, though there has been talk that Andre’s contract could contain a €40m (£34m) release clause – though this remains unverified.
