‘Terribly Sad’ : Saints coaching position officially vacant after loss of their college scouting director.

The New Orleans Saints will soon have another coaching position vacant as their college scouting director Cody Rager is expected to join Sean Payton’s scouting/personnel staff of the Denver Broncos, per reports.

Rager is expected to also receive the title of Vice-President with the Broncos as part of his promotion.

Rager spent the last 9 years with the Saints. He was first hired as an area scout, then spent 3 years as a national scout. Rager was promoted to assistant college scouting director in 2021.

Saints Will Interview Greg Lewis For Offensive Coordinator Spot

NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reports on Tuesday morning that the New Orleans Saints will interview Baltimore Ravens WR coach Greg Lewis for their vacant offensive coordinator position.

The Saints fired longtime offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael two weeks ago. WR coach Kodi Burns and senior offensive assistant Bob Bicknell were also terminated, while RB coach Joel Thomas left to accept the same position with the New York Giants.
