The Dragons would like to congratulate Zac Lomax, Ben Hunt, and Jaydn Su’A on being selected for Game I of the 2024 State of Origin series.

Lomax has been named to make his Origin debut on the wing for the Blues with Hunt and Su’A set to add to their tallies for the Maroons.

A Temora Dragons junior, Lomax made his NRL debut for the club in Round 10, 2018 and this season surpassed the 100-game mark.

He is averaging 183 run metres per game and has scored seven tries from his 11 outings this year.

Hunt is set for his 18th Origin appearance having debuted for the Maroons in Game III, 2017.

The 34-year-old won back-to-back Dragons Medals in 2021 and 2022 and is also two-time winner of Queensland’s prestigious Ron McAuliffe Medal.

In 2024, he leads the NRL in try assists and sits second in total kick metres.

Su’A meanwhile earns an Origin recall for the first time since Game I, 2021 and is set to wear the Maroons jersey for the fifth time after debuting for them the year prior.

The Logan Brothers junior is this season averaging 114 run metres per game and has crossed for four tries.
