Sinisterra linked with Sporting Lisbon
A report from Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims that Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra has entered as a target ahead of Friday’s deadline day.
The Colombian made a goalscoring return to the Leeds side at Ipswich Town on Saturday after he had sat out the previous two matches amid uncertainty over his future at Elland Road. Sporting
The report claims that Sinisterra is a ‘faster and more explosive’ target than another player that the Europa League contenders are eyeing in wantaway Brentford forward Mikkel Damsgaard.
Cody Drameh ‘allowed to leave’ Leeds United
Leeds United look to be closing in on a loan move for Tottenham Hostpur right-back Djed Spence, with reports suggesting he completed his medical while the Whites were in action at Salford City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano added a knock-on effect to the Spence move, as he claims that the Spurs man’s arrival would mean that Leeds would be willing to let Cody Drameh leave the club, either on loan or in a permanent move.
He adds that Drameh, who is in the final year of his contract, will not accept a new deal at Elland Road and that Spence’s signing would clear the path for a move.
German outlet Bild has not held back when it comes to giving their take on Nadiem Amiri’s on-off purported move to Leeds United.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Elland Road over the past five days, with the player even flying out to Leeds to hold talks with the club, only for him to back out of a move. Bild have headlined a piece on Amiri as ‘the most embarrassing transfer farce of the summer’ pointing out that he has said yes to Leeds three times and then no to Leeds three times.
They add that his attitude is unlikely to win him any admiration from his Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso and ask whether another club will be willing to enter talks for him at this late stage of the window.
